First the location was great if you want to enjoy the beach! Loved being so close and also had a couple of stores and restaurants around so you didn't have to drive far for anything such as necessities. The hotel room was clean for the most part. I only gave 4 stars because my Toddlers feet were black from the carpet. She wasn't allowed to be on the floor without shoes on due to the dirtiness of the floor. The water pressure in the shower was great, the channels were premium, and the beds were comfortable and clean. I would stay here again.

I can't rave enough. I've stayed in budget hotels that were in terrible shape and unclean for higher price and while this one is obviously on the older side, it is very well-kept. Beds were comfortable, I felt safe, amenities all worked and the room was clean! What more can you ask for? Staff was very welcoming and helpful, location is incredible. 5 star review for this 2 star hotel.

At first glance you might be tempted to pass this hotel by BUT don't be fooled by it's unassuming appearance, this place is a diamond in the rough. We stayed 6 nights here and while some minor things were a bit dated, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at a very reasonable price. Our room was very spacious and immaculately clean, with mini fridge, microwave and flat screen tv. Location is perfect, just a short distance from White cap beach and an equally convenient distance to various grocery stores, shopping areas and restaurants. Housekeeping came in daily to tidy up and the staff was wonderful. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Corpus Christi; I definitely recommend !

Quick and easy booking through Booking.com. When I had to make a change, though, I had to make it again through Booking - I could not affect the change by calling the hotel. Room was clean and ready when I arrived. Key system was a little strange, but manageable. No central lighting for the room; lamps by the beds, and in the bath area. Bed was firm. Chair was crowded into a corner with a lamp shelf. Housekeeping came by daily, but they did not take the cash tip I left out for them; I hope they took the final tip I left once I checked out. Would stay here again.

Solid 5 stars for this place. We were a bit taken aback when we arrived because our room was still being cleaned. A quick walk to the office and it was sorted out immediately. The room was spacious and clean. The AC was COLD. Bed was a bit firm, but comfy. The restroom was clean, and water pressure was perfect. The TV offered up a ton of channels, including movie channels. The hotel is an older place, which is reflected in the exterior and the grounds. Don’t let it detract you from booking, though. This place was great. It’s a short drive to some quiet beaches. It’s surrounded by amenities that are within walking distance. As an added bonus, this hotel accepts dogs up to 60 lbs for only $10/night. Our 55 pound pooch was very comfortable.

This motel may be 58 years old, but it's clean, updated, and the comfortable beds were a nice surprise! The staff was most pleasant and accommodated our needs. Will return for sure. 10/19/2022: And return we did! Had a wonderful time on the Island and our stay at OYO was very pleasant, couldn't ask for more considering the cleanliness and comfort we enjoyed at this motel. This no-frills accommodation sure frees up a BUNCH of $$$ for FUN on the Island! Will return again! 08/06/23 And return we did, for a 3 day stay. Everything I mentioned in the previous reviews, plus, I'd like to say Mr. Patel is a pleasure to work with, he knows how to serve his clients well! Stay with confidence!

This was our last resort booking due to my "forgetting to book earlier" but the hard working staff has won my respect. I never stayed in such an old shabby looking hotel before but I have to give 5 stars for the cleanliness inside and prompt service every time we called. It's also very convenient to have our car right at the door. There's nice surprise blooming white flowers plus a flock of seagulls from Whitecap Beach nearby when I made a sunrise trip the next morning. That's the reason I don't have the heart to push the rating down to 4 stars even though the ants showing up in our bathroom sink was not a good sighting! I do recommend a renovation of the place but am very grateful of your hard work.

The motel is a bit dated and could use some minor work - some old outlets could use replacing along with the wall A/C units, and just some other wear and tear on the room. But the beds are comfortable and the room is clean. They offer free wifi for guests. But most importantly to me, the staff was wonderful and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Very good value for the price and would stay again.
